Due to the massive increase of users in Europe, we have changed our plans for an Asian VPN server and decided to first implement a new server in the Old Continent .

This time we have decided for Luxembourg, offering a good balance of privacy, security and speed. Hope you like our decision.

New server should be available sometime during next week.

Regarding Asian VPN server that will come any time soon, we are more or less decided for Malaysia, it will offer good connectivity for Australian/New Zealand customers and also be useful for Chinese and other Eastern locations.

There have been several Snow Leopard users with problems to setup Tunnelblick. It seems that there are currently some issues with Tunnelblick and Snow Leopard. Viscosity provides a good alternative.

We have just finished deployment of OpenVPN service over port 443/tcp on all our servers.

This is meant for people behind very restrictive firewalls that don't allow normal OpenVPN operation on port 1194/udp.

We hope to be able to bring TUVPN security and privacy to a greater range of users who had until now no other alternative.

In response to the growing demand from our users to find a solution for people behind very restrictive firewalls or ISPs, we will be releasing in all our servers a new OpenVPN instance running over port 443/tcp.

As this port is open in virtually all firewalls, this should allow our users to use our services in the most restrictive environments.

Always listening carefully to our users, we have just released our new OpenVPN client (2.1_rc22) that has the enable-password-save feature included. We are the very first VPN provider to offer the latest OpenVPN release with this feature.

We have recompiled and adapted the OpenVPN client so that now, if you would like,  you can avoid OpenVPN-GUI asking for username and password every time you establish a connection to TUVPN.
